In my “spare” time I teach an online class here and there for those working on a Hotel/Restaurant Management Degree. I finished my own back in 2002 but I actually started working in hotels back in 1989 (yes, I was an infant).

Why does this matter, you might ask? Doesn't grammar "not count" online and in text messages? Sure--if you're just chatting with your friends. But when those bad habits bleed over onto your business communications or website content, you're affecting the public face of your brand.
